Head of International Sales – Travel
We are recruiting for a newly created role for this fast paced, international travel body based in Central London. Working with a professional and motivated team, this is a busy and varied role and will involve managing a sales team, membership, account management and new product and event development and liaise with various senior members of the team in other departments including Marketing and Events. The strategy is to increase the membership significantly over the next three years, and to achieve this, this role as Head of Sales will be focused on creating a sales driven environment, to ensure the sales and support teams are fully focused on delivering against this aggressive growth aim of our client’s plan. You will need gravitas and credibility as you will be representing the company at a senior level with industry partners, tourist boards, tour operators, all on an international basis. This role reports into the CEO and you will be have experience in preparing sales reports and presenting to the board. What we are looking for?
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Proven sales success
- Experience within the Pan European inbound tourism industry
- Graduate calibre
- Fluency in a 2nd European language
- At least 5 years’ experience running a commercial sales team
- Be currently based in the UK
