Our client is a well established, award winning and dynamic cruise tour operator, now seeking a Travel Product Support Executive to join their friendly team. This well-known tour operator offer luxury European and Worldwide cruises to the discerning clientele including tailormade travel and groups. Our client establishes a superior customer service experience, promoting customer retention and maintaining their ‘can do’ ethos within the company.

The exciting Product  role entails a wide range of tasks, this includes:

  • Identify new products and ports of interest, along with destinations of interest each ship will be visiting
  • Ensure all new & existing product details are obtained, for tours to be uploaded & updated onto the internal system
  • Analyse and compare contract rates with cruise lines/tour operators and to certify all product loaded onto the system is competitive
  • Establish a good professional relationship with our suppliers and maintain regular contact
  • Source new suppliers including transport companies and qualified guides and negotiate the best possible rates
  • Demonstrate good negotiation skills to ensure rates are mutually agreed and contracts are signed with the agreed terms
  • Attend exciting educationals, commercial events such as the World Travel Market
  • Provide quotations for the group department and tailor made tours requested from the guest service department ensuring these requests are turned around as soon as possible
  • Regularly update the marketing team with all new products recently loaded onto the system.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in travel in must, ideally in cruise
  • A confident networker
  • Great communication and negotiating skills
  • A proven track record in commercial, sales and negotiating
  • A team player
