As an International Sales Manager you’ll be reporting into the Commercial Director to implement a distribution strategy for source non-UK.
Working with international markets such as USA, Far East and Australia you’ll be researching these markets to establish working relationships with key tour operators, DMC’s and other distribution partners. The International Sales Manager will be tasked with researching markets, securing new partnerships to ensure maximum distribution for our clients product.
On the flip side of this senior job in travel, you’ll be tasked with implementing a product strategy with the support of the product team, to ensure the right product is available for these markets, that it is priced accordingly and the relevant websites are promoting the key messages to drive sales.
In terms of the candidate profile for this International Sales Manager job in travel, you will ideally have had a job in tour operating or you may work for a wholesale provide, DMC or bedbank working with source non-UK markets. In addition to this, you will need to be commercial strong in order to manage the pricing element of the role, and maybe even a product management background where you are researching a market and building relevant product. Experience of working with non UK markets would be highly desirable for this international travel job.
