I am currently recruiting for a Travel Sales Manager to join my client who is an industry leader in specialist hospitality and sports travel. You would be reporting directly to the head of sales & marketing and responsible for sales of ticketed travel products across 4 of the companies brands. Further to this the successful candidate will be managing a team of five and leading them to their sales targets. This role will require split duties covering strategic sales, customer relationship, performance management and more. This is a fantastic opportunity offering a very competitive salary and the chance to work for a leading sports events company.

* Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing you will be responsible for sales of official ticketed travel across 4 brands
* Managing and motivating a growing team of 5
* Drive sales in a dynamic and fast paced target driven environment
* Working closely with senior individuals at some of the world's largest sports/events brands
* Creation, implementation and on-going development of strategic sales for the companies brands
* Creation and delivery of a customer relationship management
* Responsible for the leadership of the sales teams
* Managing, coaching and inspiring the team
* Manage relationships with customers and trade partners
* Deputising for the Head of Sales and Marketing when appropriate
* Provide accurate and timely management and financial information and reports
* Create and develop an effective and productive relationship with other managers in the company
* Ensure clear and effective communication takes place with the team and other managers

* Minimum of five years in a senior sales role within the travel industry
* At least five years of creating and implementing sales strategies
* Exceptional commercial awareness and ability
* Strong people management and team development experience
* Experience of delivering against sales targets of similar size and scale
* Strong communicator
* Experience of managing, motivating and developing sales teams
* Able to work closely with other departments
* Proven relationship management skills
* Strong leadership skills including all people management skills
* Knowledge of the travel/events industry
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills and good presentation skills

A highly competitive salary in the region of £35-40k is on with an OTE around £45-50k. Further to this the company offer various other benefits and the a chance to work for a leader in their sector.
