Job title: Sales Development Executive

Organisation: Uniworld Boutique River Cruises Ltd

The position reports to: Uniworld National Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

To support the field sales team and to maintain contacts with the travel trade ensuring high levels of service are maintained at all times. To build/maintain the relationship and grow the business through the allocated trade partners

Main duties:

  • Account manage selected (smaller) trade partners
  • Act as a day to day support for the sales team
  • Prepare account statistics as required
  • Update partner intranets with Uniworld news and offers
  • Manage brochure distribution through travel agents and B2C and prepare stats on stock levels and agent usage
  • Be accessible to accounts to assist with queries
  • Carry out sales/promotional measures and telephone campaigns
  • Organise and plan trade and consumer events and training
  • Ensure all agent records are kept up to date
  • Attend Roadshows, exhibitions and other promotional events
  • Act as a ‘back up’ for Sales Managers out in their areas   

Authority:

Support accounts with queries and marketing initiatives. Manage promotional set budgets. Work closely and support the marketing team.

Goal criteria for success:

  • Assist in building Uniworld share of UK river cruise sales
  • Sales targets achieved and exceeded
  • Raise general awareness of Uniworld throughout the industry
