Head of Sales - An excellent opportunity to join an award winning, global organisation that provides specialist services in travel risk management, security consultancy and crisis avoidance to some of the world's largest organisations. Location is close to Christchurch in Dorset with some travel required both nationally and internationally.

Head of Sales Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the leadership and performance of a team of business development managers and account directors, targeted on the acquisition of new clients, revenue growth, retention and the development of existing accounts. You will define and action the most appropriate tactical strategy, putting in place performance metrics and ensuring the teams KPI's are hit and they remain motivated to maximise revenues. You will employ all avenues for prospecting to ensure the required number of meetings are attained and conducted, meet with clients to understand their needs and consultatively sell the most appropriate solutions for their business. You will work with the Account Directors to ensure that clients receive the highest levels of service to ensure contract renewal.

Head of Sales Skills Required

  • An inspirational people leader with a track record of driving high performing, remotely based sales and account management teams
  • A proven track record of sales success, working at a high level within a similar environment such as corporate travel or business consultancy
  • Superb negation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of managing complex sales tenders and producing compelling material to facilitate the sale
  • Flexible to travel as part of the role

Head of Sales Package

A highly competitive basic salary plus excellent sales incentive, with a six figure plus OTE. You will also get car allowance, laptop, mobile, healthcare, pension, 4 times death in service and incapacity benefit.
