We are looking for naturally charming, persuasive and experienced Travel Sales Advisors to join our team! We need you to sell our wide range of holidays and tour packages to new and existing customers, as well as agents, to increase our profitability and expand our brand name. You must have demonstrable experience of working in a travel sales environment so you can sell the most suitable package to our customer's according to their needs and requirements.

The job involves liaising with direct Newmarket customers; national and regional newspapers and travel agents; as well as our internal Product, Marketing and Sales Support Teams. Therefore strong communication and interpersonal skills are key! You must be passionate, focused and motivated by the desire to turn every sales opportunity into a booking and putting customer satisfaction first.

Key accountabilities include:

  • To deliver an effective and enjoyable buying experience for all customers
  • To share with our customers a passion for travel and a knowledge of the destinations in order to add value to the booking experience
  • To gain knowledge of the products and services we offer and consistently share this knowledge with the team members
  • To escalate and share challenges as they arise to ensure that potential problems are identified and solutions found

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Experience of working in the travel industry in a target driven environment
  • Customer focused, provide excellent customer service and have a friendly telephone manner
  • Exceptional listening skills to provide the right holiday for our customer base
  • Keep calm and work well under pressure
  • An empathetic team player with a strong can do attitude

  • Delivering exceptional customer service, which exceeds expectations
  • A passion for travel
  • Proven experience of selling within Travel/Tourism
  • Ability to work a shift pattern over 7 days (on a 4-week rota including 9-5, 9-5.30, 11-7 plus weekends which are worked alternately)
