Travel Consultant - GDS Knowledge Required
Base Salary £22,000 and Uncapped Comm - OTE £40K +
Central London


My client is a highly successful, rapidly expanding tailor-made tour operator, offering holidays to wide variety of long haul destinations.

They now require Travel Consultants with travel sales experience to join their team to sell worldwide destinations.

Travel Consultants must have previous travel experience, have knowledge of any of the major GDS’s and be sales focused and target driven.

Travel Consultants you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:

Booking all tailor-made holiday requirements to worldwide destinations
Cross selling and switch selling when required
Up-selling and adding on of ancillary products including car hire, insurance, etc…
Working to and exceed set sales targets
Ensure all bookings are dealt with accurately

Travel Consultant remuneration package:

Competitive Basic salary of E22,000 + commission OTE £40000
22 days annual leave

Travel Consultant skill attributes:

Sales experience gained from working within in a Tour Operator environment
GDS Experience
Strong sales experience
Strong closing skills
Computer literate
