This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Travel Administrator to join the expanding team in the City of London. My client are a tour operator that specialise in tailor-made trips for couples, family holidays and honeymoons aswell as small group travel with activities that include safaris, cultural, wildlife and birding tours. This role would ideally suit someone looking to start or restart a career in the travel industry.

Job Responsibilities:

*Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and production of final travel documents, final itineraries, Travel vouchers, E-tickets and destination information
*Ensure bookings for all services are in place and correct
*Check and issue booking confirmation documentation
*Providing administrative support to the sales team
*Be proactive, with the foresight to think ahead for our clients anticipating their needs
*Be acutely aware of the need to pay extra attention to the finer details of a booking
*Work alongside a team of Sales Consultants and adapt to their individual needs
*Consistently support in the delivery of revenue and profit targets
*Deliver exceptional customer care through genuine relationship management and your desire to exceed clients' needs

Skills Required:

*Travel industry experience
*Administration background
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Organised and methodical
*Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
*Able to work as part of a small team
*Ability to organise and prioritise work
*Work within strict time-lines and meet deadlines
*Willingness to support other team members
*Happy to get involved in a wide range of tasks

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm (candidates will be required to work the occasional Saturday on a rotational basis with a day off during the week).


Salary:

The successful candidate can expect a basic salary of £18k - £21k, an opportunity for personal and professional development, plus other fantastic company benefits
