We are now recruiting a Digital Executive, based in Kingston upon Thames.  In addition to assisting the Digital Manager to deliver on digital strategy, You will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and optimising online marketing campaigns. This includes optimisation of Emirates Holidays UK website via regular content updates and SEO, social media engagement and email marketing.

Your ability to multitask and prioritise will serve you well, as will your proactive and ideas-driven approach allied with a creative mind-set.


  • Work with the Digital Manager and Product team to develop compelling, on-brand web content and themes to enhance user experience and drive traffic across the various Emirates Holidays sites
  • Create, deploy and measure external email campaigns and ensure email marketing best practice is applied across the business
  • Ensure consistency across all digital channels in terms of reflecting our brand values, message, tone of voice, brand guidelines and style
  • Monitor online customer feedback and be the main point of contact for all internal website queries
  • Assist in day to day SEO optimisation across all sites, implementation & monitoring initiatives
  • Analyse user statistics to identify on-site behaviour, referral sources, marketing opportunities and trends, propose action and project manage agreed e-commerce development work
  • Support ongoing A/B testing experimentation across domains, with a view to enhancing the customer experience on an ongoing basis
  • Regularly analyse and interrogate data and report trends to ensure the digital user experience is continually optimised
  • Input into and implement social media strategy as well as drive social media engagement
  • Maintain a current understanding of digital industry trends and explore potential channels as sources for future online communications
  • Monitor competitors, market activity and trends and conduct effective market analysis
  • Measure and report on performance of digital marketing activities and campaigns 
  • Contribute to relationship with external agencies and freelancers, including building relationships with online influencers (brand advocates) to improve rankings of key terms in Google search
  • Using CRM platform and customer segments, maximise online marketing opportunities
  • Identify digital marketing opportunities with the business, develop, implement and monitor digital marketing campaigns on time and to budget

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven experience working in an online environment
  • An understanding of Google Analytics (or another analytics package)
  • An ability to create great content, including for social media
  • Experience of delivering email marketing campaigns
  • Great knowledge of social media channels and experience with social media 
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
  • Understanding of SEO and paid digital marketing principles
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and approachable demeanour
  • Positive and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to carry out instructions but equally to make decisions within field of expertise
  • Well-organised and able to prioritise
  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously but equally be a team player
  • Ability to work under pressure and to time constraints
  • Commercially astute and customer focused
