Sales Executive working for specialist travel company. The role would suit a sales driven individual who isn't averse to making outgoing sales calls (although not cold calling). Previous travel industry experience would be an advantage but not essential. This role would suit someone with previous B2B sales experience.

My client is growing at pace and is seeking a dedicated sales person to convert opportunities and help drive the business to the next level. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding business for someone who is motivated and ambitious. You will pursue and convert sales leads and source new trade accounts.

Travel Sales Executive Duties:
- Follow up (by telephone) sales leads generated by the Telesales team
- Contact (by telephone) new potential accounts
- Ensure new accounts are set up online to my clients service standards
- Follow a communications plan to keep consistent open relationships with key accounts, mainly by telephone.
- Be aware of monthly/annual sales targets
- Liaise with Airfare Team to be aware of special offers, key developments, new services etc
- Have a good understanding of each airlines' products, routes and usps
- Investigate new sales opportunities
- Manage a small portfolio of clients

- Be aware of company's goals and aims and strive to achieve at every opportunity
- Deliver an efficient and professional service to my client's internal and external customers
- Compile accurate business letters/reports as required
- Acknowledge correspondence within set standards and timescales
- Assist other departments when and where necessary to ensure business continuity and minimum standard performance
- Maintain systems to ensure quality control
- Strive to continuously improve the quality (presentation, accuracy and coverage) of information relevant to the business

A competitive salary circa £19,000 PA plus OTE and great working hours Monday to Friday 9.00 to 5.30.
22 days holiday rising to 25 with service.
