Are you an experienced travel professional looking to move into a Business Development Manager / Agency Sales role? Do you have excellent cruise knowledge? This successful cruise company require a new captain to top their sails and develop business across the South East of England. This excellent opportunity will involve increasing brand and product awareness along with agent visits and training. You will be based out on the road and excellent sales and relationship building skills are key.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Be conversant with the Company's overall sales strategy, distribution plans, product positioning and brand objectives and have an appreciation of the British cruise market.
*On going measurement and review of existing business, analyse new sales leads and exploit new sales opportunities and trends within the region with the aim of increasing sales against pre-defined sales targets and budgets.
*Managing existing key retail accounts and developing new clients within the region including setting pre-defined commercial targets, agreeing marketing campaigns and supporting the account to drive sales.
*Product and sales training to the retail travel trade (one to one or classroom style) as and when required.
*Attending client promotional events, retail exhibitions and cruise show days and in store promotions, hosting ship visits and attendance at trade and consumer promotional events such as the Daily Telegraph Cruise Show/ACE Convention etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
*Proven experience within a Business Development or Agency Sales role is an advantage
*An experienced retail travel manager looking to take the next step in their career would be considered
*Understanding of the Cruise Industry is essential
*Ability to deliver training to retail agents
*Competitor analysis and drive sales through planning and following up sales campaigns
*Able to work from home and cover a large geographical area - The South East of England
*Must hold full, clean UK drivers license with own car
