CRM Manager required for a leading and very well established travel company based in North Manchester to fulfil a 12 month contract for maternity. This CRM Manager role is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the implementation and roll out of a new CRM system, and a leading role in defining and delivering a sector leading CRM strategy taking this inique travel company and brand to the next level in developing its capabilities to reach and convert known and new customers. Basic salary of up to £35,000 dependent on skills and experience.

CRM Manager Specific responsibilities to include:

Implementation
- Take a lead in data migration supporting the Red Eye project team to ensure optimised migration of data
- Quickly become a subject expert in the capabilities and potential of the Red Eye CRM tools

Planning & delivery

  • Own the end to end process to deliver our ambition of developing a single customer view, aggregating data points from multiple channels and devices with the aim of developing better targeted, relevant content and triggered campaigns to increase customer engagement, retention and conversion
  • Working closely with content manager and Digital designer to develop a significant library of digital assets to suit the customer and prospect profiles that will be created as a result of understanding customer behaviour both on line and offline across various touch points.
  • Working with the digital content manager and designer to develop personalised and dynamic web content to suit multiple customer profiles
  • Own the planning and implementation of the multi-dimensional customer communications journey - encompassing online and offline communications - planning and implementing a contact strategy and using results to ensure customers are targeted most efficiently, maximising the potential of the Red Eye tool to reach and convert new customers, our existing 'Repeat' and 'Restart' customers and maximising upsell of existing customers
  • Lead any relevant Market and Customer Research initiatives
  • Accountable for the management of the Direct Marketing budget ensuring delivery against key KPIs

Working with internal colleagues and reporting tools to produce MI to track performance of all delivered activity with appropriate recommendations to constantly improve and refine all delivered activity

CRM Manager Skills, knowledge, attitude and experience required:

  • The successful candidate will have a minimum 5 years hands on experience in a CRM and marketing communications role
  • Previous experience working with Red Eye tolls will be a distinct advantage
  • A candidate with a wide experience of all marketing disciplines will have an advantage
  • Experience of the travel industry would be an advantage
  • Strong analytic skills are essential
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively at senior management level
  • Commercial acumen - can balance customer needs with commercial viability
  • Progressive, forward thinker - can identify emerging trends or new opportunities
  • Creative flair with an eye for good design and attention to detail
  • A proven track record of delivering to tough deadlines in a fast-paced organisation
  • The candidate must be knowledgeable and comfortable with all aspects of data collection, structuring and processing including all aspects of data protection legislation
