An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Product Manager for the Africa & Middle Eastern regions.
This specialist tour operator operates worldwide offering excellent trips to the travel industry and direct clients alike.

Ensuring that the client has on sale a range of cultural and multi-active tours that cater to the client demographic, whilst pushing pioneering tours that achieve the company vision. As Product Manager you are responsible for sales, tour notes and brochure content for Africa and Middle Eastern regions, ensuring that this is both inspiring and accurate. Each Product Manager within the company is accountable for the overall profitability of their tours, sales growth and operating profit of all the relevant company's products within that region.

Duties include:-

*Driving the Africa & Middle East team forward to achieve strategic and personal goals.
*Responsible for all product development within a specific geographical area, ensuring it is based on the strategic aims of the business, and in line with the market-led product strategy briefs provided by the Business Intelligence (BI).
*Ensure that we have the very best ground costs and working closely with the Air Contracts Manager to ensure that we have the best and most appropriate air costs and routings.
*Ownership of all operational supplier relationships
*Accountable for ensuring all products on sale within the geographical area adheres to the company's stringent guidelines on quality, safety and responsible travel.
*Oversee any necessary changes to itineraries.
*Maintaining communication between the Product team and all other areas of the business.
*Timely provision of product information required to maximise customer satisfaction and sales - including up to date planning sheets, updating the Product Database, sales focused text & images for web, brochures, tour notes, 3rd party websites, one-off campaigns, PR releases & training material etc.
*Ownership of product-based PR for the specific geographical area. To be actively and regularly involved in PR and other promotional activity.

*Extensive travel experience within Africa & The Middle East
*Demonstrable results inside a product environment
*Knowledge of the adventure travel market
*Proven people management & leadership skills
*Excellent negotiation skills
*Demonstrable organisational, communication & interpersonal skills
*High degree of numeracy
*High degree of literacy

The salary range for the Product Manager is between £30,000 to £35,000 per annum plus excellent company benefits.
