Inside Sales Co-ordinator
Our client is a highly renowned international airline that operates worldwide to over 150 different destinations in 95 countries such as Brazil, South Africa, Vietnam and Hong Kong to name a few. With various offices around the world, this position gives you the autonomy to work from home whilst visiting their UK head office that boasts enviable views if you are a bit of a plane spotter.
As an Inside Sales Co-ordinator you will work as part of the support team for the trade, supporting the leisure account and sales managers and the travel agency network. Being the office based point of contact and most likely the first port of call for questions or issues from the trade, this travel job promises to offer no two days the same.
As a Sales Co-ordinator you will have a natural flair for multitasking and have an excellent telephone manner; be able to think quickly on your feet and come across in a very professional manner at all times. This travel job is working in the airline sector, therefore a knowledge of aviation would be desirable. But what is essential is that you have experience of either working in a travel agency selling flights or have worked for an airline in a similar position. Another skill our client is seeking is hands on GDS experience.
Back to this travel job itself… so your day will consist of speaking to travel agents on a daily basis, helping them to close a sale or answer any adhoc questions they may have on the aircraft, the routes, upgrades etc.. In addition to this you’ll be the support the trade sales team where you might be helping to set up an event, send out merchandise or assist with any stats or reports they may require.
