We have an exciting opportunity available for a Product Coordinator to join the award-winning Newmarket Group which is one of the UK's largest independently owned specialist tour operators who look after the arrangements of tens of thousands of clients each year to a wide range of destinations throughout the UK, across Europe and worldwide.

This is a core and varied administrative role supporting the delivery of our various tours to our highest standards; therefore you must have a good command of English with excellent spelling and use of grammar. A calm, practical disposition and common sense is a must. Supporting a small but busy team to deliver well operated and managed tours your tasks will include:

  • Booking and monitoring visit times and liaising with suppliers
  • Assisting with forward planning of regular and one-off large volume events
  • Diagnosing coach tours; contracting coaches and invoice checking; preparing customer tour documents
  • Briefing and preparing detailed information for Tour Managers and drivers (e.g. daily itineraries, attraction/venue information/ payment methods, maps etc)
  • Allocating and logging tickets
  • Handling emergency calls from Tour Managers, coach companies and customers
  • Attending industry events, trade shows and large volume events to assist their smooth running
  • Post tour and event evaluation
  • Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, Tour Managers, customers

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have a love of travel and a real desire to give people the best holiday experience possible
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be able to work to strict deadlines and at times under high level’s of pressure
  • Be highly organised and able to assimilate a variety of tasks
  • Be flexible to meet changing priorities as demands dictate
  • Have a high level of numeracy and accuracy essential
  • Be an energetic, motivated team player with a positive can do attitude
  • Enjoy taking responsibility and thinking through problems
  • Have a strong desire to constantly improve what we do, to input ideas and with a commitment to quality and customer service
  • Be able to work both individually and as a team
  • Be able to build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers and tour managers
  • Previous travel operation experience highly desirable
