Are you an experienced office and HR manager with excellent attention to detail, a bubbly personality and management experience? If so then your new challenge awaits with a small friendly travel company based in South London.


THE ROLE
A specialist Tour Operator with an entrepreneurial spirit with a fast growing team. Due to that fast growth, many HR procedures are still in early stages, so the successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to create new structures and procedures from inception. As it is an entrepreneurial company, they are unconventional and very passionate about what they do.

The role is diverse and challenging with high levels of autonomy and responsibility, in an exciting, working and creative environment. The HR & Office Manager will need to have the necessary experience, qualification and skills to hit the ground running, take charge across all HR functions and office management, review and implement processes, able to multitask, prioritise and handle responsibility well to be successful in the role. The position encompasses full duties of HR management, managing the office, PA duties to the Directors.

*Office Presentation, maintenance and H&S
*Supervise a small team of administrators who handle call and email enquiries
*Organise company events, birthdays, social staff activities
*Recruiting, Staffing, Training and Development, Employee Satisfaction
*Responsible for sourcing candidates through various channels such as advertising on job boards, professional networking, headhunting and social media sources
*Responsible for the recruitment process of vacancies; from approval to hire (negotiating with agencies) to appointment of suitable candidates and inductions
*Training and Development
*Oversee implementation of all Staff Incentive activities throughout the year
*Manage staff leave, sick and TOIL absence, including management approvals, record keeping and liaising with staff directly on their leave approval/rejection, holiday entitlement balance, paternity/maternity leave etc.
*Manage all HR documents - create, maintain and update confidential HR records for new or existing staff as required. For example, preparing new employee employment contract, letter of offer, staff company handbook and forms
*Disciplinary actions: warnings, investigations, hearings and dismissals
*Responsible for decoration, cleaning supervision and recycling, keeping the office tidy at all times
*Office Supplies, Equipment (Heating, Air Conditioning),
*Utilities and suppliers (Council, Telecom, Insurance)


REQUIREMENTS:
*Minimum 2 years in both Office and HR management experience
*Experience in the recruitment
*A natural aptitude for organising and maintaining a positive and constructive attitude
*A clear aptitude to work autonomously and ability to drive things forward without being prompted / taking charge in the role
*Implementing new processes as required and ensure best business practises are adopted
*Confident, friendly individual
*Show initiative and be agile working and committed to excellence in their role
*Highly organised who thrives in a busy working environment
*A quick learner who enjoys overcoming challenges and loves getting things to run smoothly like a well-oiled machine at all times
*Positive outlook with a 'can do' attitude and a calm confident approach
*High Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel). Cloud based storage applications knowledge (such as SharePoint, Dropbox, Google Drive) would be an advantage


THE PACKAGE:
In return the successful candidate can expect a salary of £30,000 DOE along with excellent benefits and opportunities for personal and professional development.
