This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tailor made travel consultant to join this expanding, award winning luxury tour operator based in the heart of London. You will be creating bespoke holidays and luxury travel to Africa aswell as responsible for the continued development of the Africa product through the website and other distribution channels. You must be passionate about travel and have specialised or extensively travelled throughout Africa.

Job Description:

*Responsible for managing enquiry's generated by the website, walk in's, repeats and referrals
*Ensuring that all potential clients are offered bespoke and exciting tailor made itinerary's
*Responsible for managing the whole client experience from initial enquiry to when your clients return home.
*Achieve monthly sales and kpi targets
*Responsible for the continued development of our Africa product through the website and other distribution channels.
*Contract new properties as required in keeping with company strategy
*Foster strong supplier relationships with Key Partners and ensuring that the sales team are aware of our key partners and selling our preferred partners as a priority.
*Directly responsible for the contracting of FIT rates, value adds and exclusive offers for your region.
*Highlight potential revenue generation with key suppliers through sponsored e-shots and targeted over rides with key hotel providers.
*Responsible for recognising market trends, new destinations and sourcing new suppliers who can provide exclusive "experiential" tailor made trips.
*Champion Africa within the marketing department to ensure that product featured on the website is driving quotations through e-shots and all social media platforms.
*Assist with the design, content sourcing, copywriting and production of all sales materials both print and electronic.
*Help to maintain and update the company web site ensuring that all product and pricing is loaded accurately.
*Ad hoc analysis as required by Head of Sales or Head of Product.

Experience Required:

*Sales orientated and motivated with relevant sales experience within the travel industry
*Strong geographical and product knowledge of AFRICA as a travel destination
*A methodical approach with particular attention to detail.
*Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
*The ability to prioritise workload, demonstrating good organisational skills.
*Working knowledge of a GDS ideally Amadeus

The Package:
The successful candidate will receive a generously competitive basic salary with a fantastic commission structure.

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday; 9am - 6pm
