Are you interested in using your experience working in leisure travel or business travel to step in an exciting and different side of travel? Do you want to work in the growing sector of online booking tools, in a support role? A leading IT company offering travel systems to companies across the UK are looking for a Travel Support Consultant to join their team.. The main duty is to provide telephone and remote support to Travel Companies utilising their back office and accounting systems.

*Working within a team you will provide professional, friendly, high quality support to clients using the web based booking products
*Clients will include both business travel and leisure travel companies and you will liaise via phone and email in an office environment
*Eliciting relevant information from the customer to be able to solve or reproduce the customer problem; troubleshoot and fix appropriate problems.
*Keep up to date with the product and technology, suggesting improvements where appropriate
*Give timely responses to customer queries and manage logs that have been passed to other teams.

We are seeking someone with a travel industry reservations background, with good knowledge of working with databases in this environment.
Experience with at least one of Sabre, Amadeus, or Travelport systems
Ideally you will also have MySQL knowledge too.

Based in offices in The City of London the starting salary is circa £ 25,000 - £ 30,000 pa dependent on experience, working office hours, Mon-Fri, with a contributory pension and 22 days holiday + bank holidays and the option to buy more, Discretionary performance based bonus bi-annually.
