THE ROLE
It is all about your positive bubbly attitude and developing friendly relationships with potential customers - what better way than to start talking about your own travel experiences!

You will be responsible to bridge the gap between the marketing activities of the company and those of the travel specialists putting the holidays together. The most important aspect of the role will be to increase the number of qualified leads that the specialists have to work with. You will be responsible for identifying, chasing and then qualifying leads, before handing them over to the best travel consultant for the job.

-Dealing quickly and efficiently with leads that come through the website, qualifying them and arranging for a follow up call with the relevant travel specialist.
-Working with the marketing department to optimise the sales conversion of the automatic sales emails sent to clients.
-Building relationships with new Travel Agents and enhancing existing relationships.
-Using the live chat function on the website to get extra, well qualified leads.
-Re-engage with existing customers to increase repeat and referral bookings.
-Assist with sales admin and support.


REQUIREMENTS
-A passion for travel and first-hand experience of travel around Asia
-Educated to Degree level In a travel or tourism focused degree
-A desire to sell and be pro-active in doing so.
-An ability to show initiative and evaluate results.
-Work independently within a variety of projects & different teams.
-Good general literacy.
-Superb interpersonal skills.
-Excellent telephone communication skills.
-A desire to develop themselves and the role moving forward.
-A customer focused approach.
-An excellent grasp of numeracy.
-Good general IT skills.



THE PACKAGE
-A competitive salary up to £23,000
-Opportunity to earn commission on sales leads gained
-The job will offer four months training, where the successful applicant will learn about sales and marketing processes, the operational aspects of putting together holidays and product training.
-Pay review after 3 months with the company
-1 FAM trip per year, FAM trips are generally private tours with a focus on developing experiences and creating quality engaging content.
-1 flight per year up to a value of £600.
-9-6 Monday to Friday / Two Saturdays a month with a weekday off in lieu / One evening a week you will work to 7:30
