MICE Account Executive
Our client is a well-respected, well stabilised independent destination management company specialising in group travel to the UK and Europe. They have two distinctive divisions, leisure and MICE creating memorable, luxury and good value for money tours. The office in London is based in the heart of the west end and they also have sales offices in Milan, New York, Paris to name just a few. This Account Executive MICE job in travel will be accountable for managing key accounts and developing new business. This is a new role for to help grow the company’s already successful MICE department through prospecting and securing new business sales.
The events and conference team handles everything from specialist seminars to spectacular corporate sales launches, for small organisations and international giants but your role will be to develop new business /clients for the group from corporate, leisure and MICE markets.
This is quite a senior travel job for our client as you will work autonomously, drawing on your market knowledge to increase and grow new sales. You will be able to open doors for our client and have a proven success in co-working in a sales team and exceeding revenue targets. Having an outgoing personality, being confident and of a professional nature you will act as the contact for any new negotiations and be the main contact with suppliers.
You may currently be operating in a project management MICE job or an incentives job in travel and seeking a new role that will offer you the opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial company where there is a real desire for the team to fulfil their career potential. Knowledge of the inbound , european or worldwide groups market would be highly advantageous.
You must have a book of contacts and be able to bring business leads into this role.
