Reservations Administrator
You will be responsible for processing client bookings and dispatching pre and post tour documentation within required deadlines .As part of the reservations administration team , the role of the Reservations Administrator is to carry out a variety of administrative tasks and assist in the smooth running of the department in order to ensure that work is completed accurately in a timely manner. Additionally the res admin depart has responsibility for overseeing the smooth running of the reception area including meeting and greeting clients and visitors to the office.
Job Description
*Meeting & Greeting Visitors
*Processing booking forms on CRS
*Checking and sending out confirmation and revised invoices
*Processing of incoming client mail eg insurance details , doctor'
*Preparation and dispatch of : PDIs and Final Documents ; Operational Changes ; Flight Schedule Change Letters ; Flight Confirmation Letters
*Checking of flight e-tickets
*Ordering and maintenance of visa packs
*Processing and sending USB logs
*Making up flight ticket wallets
*Booking couriers
*Providing refreshments for guests attending meetings and subsequent clearing (including operation of dishwasher)
*Opening and lock-up of all office grills
*Morning and afternoon post runs
Experience Required
*Minimum of 1 year travel industry experience (cruise or tour operator preferred)
*Diploma/degree in travel and tourism preferred
*GCSE passes (or equivalent) in English & Maths are essential
*IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office and CRS
*Strong ability to multitask and prioritise workload
*Able to respond quickly and accurately to enquiries/changing priorities
*Accuracy and working to deadlines are fundamental to the role
*Excellent oral and written communication skills
*Enthusiastic, reliable, self motivated team player
*Confident, warm and friendly approach to clients and visitors
The Package
*A basic salary of £20k - £22k depending on experience , Monday - Friday working hours.
