We're Virgin Holidays and this is no ordinary travel role. Join us as a Personal Holiday Expert, and you will help our customers to once-in-a-lifetime experiences from luxury Caribbean beaches to African Safaris. Within this role you will be generating sales through the retail store and making sure you hit and exceed personal targets. This role will also be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer experience and the efficient running of the store in the managers absence.  

Day to day

To communicate professionally with customers and provide exceptional service

To have a keen eye for keeping customer facing merchandise up to date and sales focussed to encourage customer enquiries and sales

Promote your store through leafleting and other innovative marketing activities to generate sales and new business

To learn our products and be able to describe features and benefits to customers depending on their needs

Support our Store Manager with day to day operational performance including rotas, discounting and sharing best practice

Role model sales through exceptional service to delivering a high level of CSQ/Mystery shoppers and sales

Maximise sales and the customers holiday experience by suggesting upgrades and additional products

Ensure completion of customer questionnaires and gather results

Deal with escalated customer service queries

Deputise for Store Manager when they are not on shift

Act as key holder

Identify training needs for Personal Holiday Advisors and work with Manager to assist in addressing these training needs

Identify service initiatives & opportunities using "live" customer NPS data

About you

The ideal candidate for this position will have worked in a target driven sales environment with proven experience of working within the travel industry. You'll need the ability to deliver impressive levels of customer service so having excellent communication skills and the ability to anticipate customer needs are essential alongside being approachable, responsible, conscientious, positive and a good team player.

Additional information

All successful applicants will need to commit to undertaking our fantastic four week full time training course. This will include travelling to our Head Office in Crawley for 2 weeks where a selection of our training will take place.
