Are you an experienced incoming group travel specialist? Do you have extensive geographical knowledge of the UK and Europe? We are looking for an experience incoming group travel specialist looking for a rewarding, long-term career within a dynamic, forward-thinking company, in a busy, modern and friendly office in South East London.

Our client is an incoming group travel specialist that organises bespoke cultural and educational tour programmes.

This role requires someone with good experience of the incoming groups market, previous experience of working with overseas agents, and a driven and self-motivated worker who will champion the brand and treat the business as if it were their own.

Your primary responsibility will be to increase business from overseas agents and international schools. To do this you will be aware of the main drivers affecting regional travel habits and trends that may affect the clients' needs.

You will ensure that all enquiries, quotations and bookings are administered correctly and efficiently, in-line with company policy and prepare detailed tour itineraries.

*You'll manage your own portfolio of key accounts, ensuring all client requests are responded to effectively and making sure enquiries, quotations and bookings are administrated in line with company procedures
*Work with the Tours General Manager and Director to achieve customer and company targets and KPIs
*Work closely with the regional field sales team to maximise cross-department opportunities and brand exposure
*Carry out market research as necessary to ensure the brand is always able to meet client requests and expectations
*Drive and monitor the brand, ensuring that KPIs are exceeded
*Monitor and manage brand performance and submit a weekly update to Tours Manager
*Work with the Tours Director to ensure effective marketing campaigns
*Ensure excellent communication through webinars and skype meetings with clients and the field sales team
*Explore departmental synergies and work cross-company to effectively plan, organise and manage overseas tours organised as an extension to a standard programme
*Represent the brand at relevant exhibitions
*Be the 'face' of their brand and will liaise with clients to ensure that client satisfaction KPIs are reached
*Work with the field sales team to explore new business and develop existing business
*Cover the 24hr out of hour's telephone as duty manager on a rota basis

*Previous working experience for an incoming agency in the UK (min 2-3 years' experience in incoming group travel sales)
*Be a driven and self-motivated worker who will drive the brand forward
*In-depth experience of organising bespoke group travel
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Experience working with overseas travel agents
*Comprehensive knowledge of European cities
*Experience of dealing with airlines, hotels and coach suppliers
*Experience of working in a fast-paced sales environment
*Track record of exceeding targets
*Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities for business growth
*The desire to take an innovative approach to work
*Strong team working skills with the ability to motivate people and foster a high performance culture
*A strong customer focus and the ability to build highly effective working relationships with all stakeholders
*Ability to set goals and work to ensure these are met
*Ability to work and make decisions effectively under pressure
*A positive, 'can do' approach to work
*Good IT skills

*Previous experience of leading a team
*Experience of working effectively with overseas colleagues through webinars, skype etc.
*Experience of conducting market research
*Ability to communicate in a 2nd major European language

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £24-26k DOE with the opportunity to earn a performance related bonus.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday; 24 hrs out of office service Duty Manager on a rota basis.
