An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Specialist Group Department of our client (interest focused within Europe). You will take ownership of operating groups from the sales stage, to designing itineraries, account managing and travelling with the groups where required. The role has plenty of scope to grow and develop in a friendly, dynamic team environment which is highly motivated and professional.
Main tasks:
*Acquisition and development of new and existing accounts - Series and Ad hoc Groups
*Create itineraries for Group Travel, including the design, quotation and operation
*Accompany the groups (where required)
*Negotiating and confirming group contracts with international suppliers (flights, hotels, rail, excursions etc.)
*Organise and attend workshops and trade shows
Requirements / skills:
*Experience in a similar role working directly with customers and suppliers is essential
*Knowledge of destination and languages is an advantage
*Galileo and ticketing knowledge preferred, but not essential
*Excellent English language skills.
