Marketing Executive - UK & Northern Europe
The South Australian Tourism Commission’s objective is to develop and promote South Australia as a leading travel destination, ultimately increasing visitation from the key markets of United Kingdom, Benelux and Nordic regions.
An opportunity now exists to join the London office in the role of Marketing Executive. The primary role of the position is to support the Marketing Manager and involves close liaison with travel trade partners for co-operative marketing campaigns, educational visits, trade training and representation at relevant trade and consumer shows. The role also manages day to day operations of the London office including responding to trade and consumer enquires.
All candidates should possess the following key attributes:
• Outstanding presentation and public speaking skills.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Creative thinker.
• Knowledge of South Australia and familiarity with South Australia’s tourism product.
• Understanding of the international tourism distribution system.
• Experience in Social Media and Digital Marketing will be highly regarded.
Travel within the UK and throughout Europe will be required by the successful candidate.
The role will be offered as a 2 year contract and is subject to 3 month probation period. Employment is subject to having the legal right to work in the UK either as a citizen or an appropriate UK work related visa.
