A flexible all-round team player and self-starter, you will possess an outgoing, positive and professional attitude combined with strong administration and time management skills. You will be a first-class communicator for both verbal and written communication. A good working knowledge of excel is essential.

To support the work of the head of sales with clerical and administrative duties whilst supporting the sales effort to achieve ambitious sales objectives. To build strong relationships with the UK and Republic of Ireland travel agents.


THE ROLE
*Produce weekly sales reports for the regional sales team and by account as required
*Produce monthly and quarterly performance booking reports by trade account
*Respond to ad-hoc requests for reports to provide further booking analysis in preparation for sales meetings
*Produce quarterly override reports by account
*Attend the monthly sales meeting and present an account of agency sales activity
*Handle all agent requests concerning systems support, merchandise supplies, joint marketing and queries of a general nature, which require referral to the appropriate manager/ department
*To act as primary reference point and provide operational support for the regional sales team
*Set up all new trade accounts, issue log in credentials and maintain the data base of retail membership
*Distribute welcome packs to new agent sign ups, provide introductions to their regional sales manager
*Conduct follow up calls to all new agent bookers and identify sales opportunities before referring to the appropriate regional manager
*Co-ordinate the logistics for all promotional material for roadshows and events
*Co-ordinate all agent incentives: collate, list and rank all entries, report to your manager and issue qualified entrants with appropriate prizes or vouchers as instructed
*Periodically, you will be asked to attend and support events, trade and consumer roadshows as well as travel overseas for product training purposes
*Ensure that personal knowledge of both trade operations and trade products are of the highest standards and are kept up to date
*Conduct outbound sales calls as required to promote key messages/ incentives and product updates to support our sales activity
*Coordinate travel arrangements for the head of sales
*During peak booking periods, you will be asked to support the reservations team and respond to all travel agent and consumer direct telephone and email enquiries from the UK & Republic of Ireland providing a fast, friendly and professional service
*Process bookings, including contact with overseas suppliers


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
*Good excel experience is a must - this includes formulas, V Lookups and pivot tables
*Travel industry Experience
*Customer Service - the attitude that the customer is always right and when they're not, resolve their issues calmly, efficiently and provide a 1st class service
*Organisation - this is an autonomous role and will require excellent organisational and time management skills
*Drive to get the job done - always going the extra mile, driven to exceed targets
*High standards - high attention to detail at all times
*Common sense - is essential
*A good team player - be reliable, contribute ideas and adapt to change positively and quickly
