Role Summary

This role will be responsible for growing the overall business for bedswithease, ideally across UK/European and other global markets and maximise the revenue of a portfolio of online, retail and call centre accounts through customer management and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building a rapport and strong commercial relationship with existing clients in assigned markets
  • Source and grow new business within the UK and Europe
  • Building relationships within key accounts at all levels, including initiating promotions, incentives that drive profitable growth and market share
  • Communication with internal and external clients, both in writing, by telephone and in person
  • Delivery of client specific product promotions and evaluation of their success
  • Monitor client booking numbers and margin against set targets and evaluate success
  • To manage and deal with existing accounts and new business subject to change as per business requirements
  • Control of budgets and P&L whilst maintaining focus on the company-wide goals
  • Representing the Company at conferences, trade fairs and networking events
  • Attending manager’s meetings and any other relevant meetings
  • To be involved with any other ad-hoc projects as may be required from time to time
  • The role will require regular travel to the Company’s offices in Frimley, Luton and Newcastle along with travel to various locations throughout the UK and overseas
  • Ensure there is always excellent departmental and cross departmental communication and teamwork to deliver best practices for the whole business

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience of working in a similar role, growing new business in the UK and across Europe
  • High commercial awareness and substantial knowledge of UK and European trade accounts
  • Experience in driving sales revenue, profit and business volume along with a demonstrable track record of identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Exceptional relationship management expertise, with excellent contacts and the ability to build strong and effective relationships with a wide range of people across all levels
  • Excellent analytical, planning and organisational skills including the ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects and prioritise workload
  • Outstanding influencing and negotiation skills, at all levels
  • Proven record of people leadership, management and development of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver profitable growth
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced target orientated environment
  • Significant knowledge and market trading experience in the travel industry, in order to predict market trends and identify new business opportunities
  • Ability to fulfil the mobility clause of the role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to use Microsoft packages, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage a budget
