My client is a internationally renowned luxury tour operator who provide high end cruising and touring programmes.
Due to expansion, they are now seeking to recruit an Inside Sales Executive to focus and be responsible for growing sales through trade sales partnerships, by facilitating and supporting on road strategy and developing inside sales tactics.
This job in travel would ideally suit candidates that have either worked in a field based role looking to move in-house or for someone that is in a similar role as agency sales or sales support for tour operator, airline or bed bank.
Travel Trade Inside Sales Executive Responsibilities
Manage call plan and co-ordinate external sales resource to cover the South East and South West regions
Develop and manage retail travel agent database and grading system
Regular communication with retail travel agents via social media or agreed best media
Relationships with AMs on fam trips, events, shows, planning and co-ordinating against agreed strategy to grow sales.
Following up on bookings from new agents - alerting AM’s, sending follow up on training, brochures etc
Communicating to travel trade partners on behalf of Account Managers on consistent basis
Management of effective return on brochure distribution to retail travel trade
Develop retail brochure racking strategy
Travel Trade Inside Sales Executives Experience Required
Previous travel industry experience ideally in a field based agency sales or sales support role
Good relationship building skills
Good communication skills
