Key Account Manager - City of London

An independent Travel Management Company based in the City of London are seeking a new Key Account Manager to join their expanding team. The Key Account Manager role will require a candidate who has experience of Account Managing in a corporate environment and one who is a personable self starter, able to use their own initiative to get on and succeed.

The Job:
In the role as Key Account Manager you will be supporting the UK leadership teams with a world class level of service and strategic management of the companies' top clients.
Developing new business opportunities in co-operation with the sales team.
The success of the role will also come from securing the retention of existing business, whilst working with the smaller clients and account management team to grow business and deliver value, cohesion and trust.
You will be acting as a face of the business, organising and attending client meetings, providing benchmarking reports and delivering effective demand management solutions.
Commercially astute and strong negotiating skills are essential as is an understanding of the operational process. Ability to influence and build strong, lasting successful long lasting relationships.

Experience Required:
*Current in-depth travel industry knowledge
*Account Management experience, ideally from a TMC background
*Good working knowledge of GDS Amadeus and MS Office
*Strong negotiating abilities
*Commercially astute
*Process driven and methodically minded
*The ability to build and influence strong, successful long lasting relationships

The Package:
A competitive salary of £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
