An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Exeutive to join a successful, leading online tour operator based in London. This role will involve focusing on pricing analysis to drive volume and maximise margins to achieve weekly bookings, analysis the product performance, improving conversion and customer satisfaction.
Job Description:
*Working closely with marketing teams to co-ordinate efforts and goals for the category/product and agree priorities
*Monitor and analyse pricing and make recommendations where changes are required, as part of the day to day performance analysis
*Review hotel rankings and make recommendations/adjustments where needed based on performance analysis
*Update merchandising and offers on landing pages, analysing performance data to make decisions on merchandising and offers effectiveness
*In depth destination, product and booking platform analysis, daily/weekly performance reporting and sales analysis, understanding of what customers are buying and improving visibility and exposure for best performing areas/offers
*Work closely with in-house supply teams to source market leading offers and agree tactical activities and share information on campaign results
*Understanding our customer profile and demographics, to make informed decisions on merchandising and promotional activities, also identifying any product gaps/opportunities and working with supply teams to improve content where needed
*Weekly review meeting with London market managers to review performance and agree action plans for upcoming period
Experience Required:
*Proven ability to deliver against business objectives and targets
*Strong analytical skills
*Attention to detail
*Proven experience in packages trading/sales environment, preferably within an OTA and/or tour operator
*Industry knowledge and understanding of the online travel business
*Destination management experience
*Must be fully proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
*Previous packages trading or sales experience in an OTA environment is desirable
*Basic web analytics experience and GDS knowledge is an advantage
*Sabre or Amadeus GDS knowledge/experience is desirable
*A passion for the web and the potential of e-commerce

Package:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive basic salary of £30k - £33k (depending on experience), plus other fantastic company benefits!
