My client is a leading luxury tour operator who specialise in top end worldwide destinations working with high net worth clients is seeking a Sales Performance Manager to help Consultant meet and deliver against their sales targets.
This is a newly created role with the focus on sales performance.
This will be primarily achieved through coaching and development of the sales team and ensuring that sales processes are constantly reviewed and optimised. The key metrics the company will seek to drive in sales are the delivery of margin, gross profit % and conversion rates.
Sales Performance Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
Driving improved performance in Sales across the key sales metrics of margin quantum, gross profit % and conversion
Developing a clear understanding of sales trends through regular data analysis in order to be able to draw conclusions on productivity and performance against agreed objectives
Identifying sales training needs through regular data analysis and monitoring of individuals’ sales performance, and working with the regional managers and senior management to devise and implement coaching and development programs with the managers themselves being included in these programs
Carrying out quality control on key sales processes, e.g. sales calls and itinerary building
Improving current on boarding processes for new hires in Sales and delivery on the sales training part of this ensuring that new joiners are able to sell effectively as quickly as possible
Developing and maintaining training materials related to sales initiatives including presentations, job aids, participant handouts, and other resources.
Sales Performance Manager Experienced Required:
Passion and demonstrable knowledge of sales techniques, management, training and development
Experience of working in sales is essential. Experience in the luxury travel sector would be a benefit but not essential. Direct travel sales experience is desirable but experience in other industries will also be considered.
Experience of being able to extract, analyse and draw conclusions from large amounts of data
Extensive experience with considerable time spent in a performance management role.
Proven ability to deliver high quality results in a timely fashion
Sales Performance Manager Salary and Benefits
Base salary to £50,000 depending on experience
Bonus based on performance
22 days holiday
