This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our Customer Centre operation as either a Sales or Customer Service Advisor. You will be the front line of Virgin Atlantic, taking inbound enquiry calls from new and existing customers and Flying Club (frequent flyer) members.

It will be your responsibility to make every customer feel unique and individual to us, providing the outstanding experience that Virgin Atlantic's customers have come to expect.  

Day to day

Taking a variety of interesting and challenging calls, your desire to be the best will lead you to exceed the Customer Centre targets  

You will bring our amazing products to life and promote the Virgin Atlantic experience enthusiastically to create unforgettable personal experiences.  

In this fast-paced environment, you will keep up to date with product enhancements, promotions and grow your knowledge to keep you at your best.  

Adhering to company policies and procedures and resolving challenging customer queries and problems.  

Taking pride in your work, you will behave in a professional and effective manner, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do.  

About you

You will need to be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with excellent interpersonal skills and a natural ability to engage with customers and make them feel special.  

It is a busy role, so working accurately under pressure is key.

Previous experience working in a target driven environment would be an advantage, but not essential.

To set you up for success we offer comprehensive and on-going training, with over 90 different topics to cover and ongoing assessments.

You will therefore need to be IT confident and competent.  

Virgin Atlantic customers call us from around the globe, so we operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

You must be prepared to work between the hours of 7am and 11pm, between Monday and Sunday (working five out of seven days).  

The targets you have to meet are ambitious, but for those that succeed, the rewards are impressive, including a generous bonus scheme plus some phenomenal ad-hoc incentives.
