Do you have experience within a Commercial environment working for a Tour Operator? An Excellent opportunity has arisen based in Manchester working for a very reputable travel company. You will need to show good commercial awareness and provide reports detailing competitor analysis and all inventory matters. You will be hard working with a strong enthusiasm for success.

Job Description:

The Commercial Analyst will be part of a results driven team. You will be commercially minded and hard working. You will provide detailed and accurate reports across all areas of the business.

Key duties of the Commercial Analyst will be:

* To analyse the sales and margin performance of each of brands within our group and recommend future strategies.
* Analyse sales, demand, channel distribution, source countries of customers, net margins and contributions of products by brand.
* Produce weekly sales kpis.
* Recommendation pricing and sales strategies for each product.
* Reprice according to demand and availability.
* Seek to identify product categories where demand outstrips supply.
* Work with product team to address poor selling product.
* Work with Digital Marketing to maximise sales by channels and allocate budgets based on optimising return on investment.
* Provide offers for affiliate channels or special promotions.
* Review promotional offers in terms of effectiveness.
* Improve book ability processes to improve sales.
* Constant review of competitor activity and the impact of event organiser decisions on our sales demand.
* Increase ancillary sales through the implementation of improved sales and marketing processes.

Experience Required:

The successful candidate should have relevant commercial experience within the travel industry. You will have sound knowledge of competitor analysis and be a keen problem solver. You will be self-motivated, innovative and hard working. Commercial / travel experience would be preferred.
