TRAVEL CUSTOMER SERVICES MANAGER

South West London

£33,000 + Bonus

My client is a market leading upmarket travel company specialising in high end all inclusive holidays.

An opportunity has come available to an experienced Travel Customer Services Manager to manage the day to day running of the customer service department.

Travel Customer Services Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the customer service department
  • Lead, motivate and develop Senior Customer Service Executive
  • Handle and resolve any customer service issues that requires escalation
  • Always ensuring that communication to customers is in line with Sandals ethos and adheres to the company’s guidelines
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Identify patterns or areas for improvement
  • Log, investigate and respond to all clients pre and post departure complaints by email and or letter
  • Handle telephone calls, including challenging situations, in a calm and professional manner
  • Be a brand ambassador, representing Sandals and Beaches Resorts
  • Deal with ABTA communication
  • Deal with solicitor/legal correspondence – liaising with in house and external legal counsel
  • Deal with solicitor/legal correspondence – liaising with in house and external legal counsel
  • Capable of understanding the bigger picture, with an eye for detail
  • Team player – understands the strength of working together to achieve goals and encouraging fellow peers
  • A personal interest in overseas travel, with strong geographical awareness

Travel Customer Services Manager Skills Required

  • Good knowledge and experience of the Travel Industry is essential, ideally gained from working within a Customer Relations environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with good organisational ability
  • High level of problem solving using initiative and the aili8ty to work autonomously
  • Knowledge of the Caribbean would be advantageous

Travel Customer Services Manager Salary and Benefits

  • Base salary to £33,000
  • Monday to Friday
  • 22 days holiday
