Excellent opportunity for an experience Web Designer to work for an established travel company based in Kent and to assist there continued growth. We are seeking a Web Designer to work with Marketing, IT, design teams and business area users. The Web Manager and their team would define and/or clarify business requirements and develop ongoing improvements working with an agile approach, analysing customer behaviour and analytics to deliver solutions that further enhance the company's website.

For this role you will be required to be will be a hand's on business driver who is proactive, a quick thinker, having a breadth of understanding of Ecommerce, technical user experience/user interface and web development as well as keeping up to date with online developments and trends.

Salary is £42 - £47k PA dependent on experience, along with extensive benefits and travel discounts!

JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Provide day-to-day management, vision and commercial leadership of the website
*Manage the company's web performance and onsite tools to constantly improve site conversion, usability, traffic funnelling, design and commercial success
*Maintain effective communications with internal departments, suppliers and all staff in support of assigned projects.
*Identify and prioritise short-term and long-term requirement from the business areas
*In conjunction with the I.T. Team Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies methods or processes
*Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements, user behaviour and recommend solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goals.
*Perform in-depth competitor site analysis to identify key opportunities in current site functionality and services.
*Serve as the internal advocate for site innovation, collaborating with all stakeholders to secure necessary support resources.
*Develop and maintain requirements documentation, project plans and site innovation roadmaps, overseeing successful development and deployment of related projects.
*Improve user experience through feature development and UI modifications across consumer product groups.
*To assess and modify user conversion, partnering with marketing and IT teams to identify and implement site changes as needed to help drive sales.
*Communicate on a regular basis and participate in regular managers' meetings.
*Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve critical buy in on projects

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

This position requires strong initiative and leadership skills to take the website and ecommerce process to the next level in an agile environment, therefore the knowledge and expertise in the following are essential:
*Degree educated or equivalent
*Ecommerce
*Knowledge of web development
*UI / UX
*Project Management skills
*CRO
*Web Development management
*Ecommerce & CRO
*Knowledge of travel industry would be advantageous

THE PACKAGE:
You will be offered a basic salary of £42 - £47k PA dependent on experience, along with extensive benefits and travel discounts!
