A Great new opportunity has arisen for a great candidate to join an established new Business travel company based in Birmingham. Be part of a new exciting and growing Business travel company!! My client who specialises in Business Travel overseas and in the UK are looking for an Office Manager. Do you have experience within Business travel and business travel management??? This is a great opportunity for a new start with a great new company and for someone to use their leadership and management skills.
The right candidate will have worked in Business travel for 5 or more years, to of managed a team for at least 12 months and for someone to have great GDS skills.

My client is looking for someone with leadership, management and organizational skills.

Job Description
The candidate must be prepared to carry out all the work necessary for a proper functioning of the office, to be prepared to work outside office hours if necessary (for the first couple of months) You will be the main manager to run the new office in Birmingham, looking after the day to day running of the business including reporting daily to the operations manager.

Guiding, motivating and coaching the Travel Consultants
Ensure proper distribution of work
Responsibility for the sale and handling of all types of reservations
Responsibility for the accounting tasks
Administrative handling of reservations including BSP
Handling of customer complaints
Handling of incoming correspondence
Maintain long term relationships with (Key) Accounts
Registration of days off and sick leave
Achieve sales and performance goals
Monitor the well-being of the employees
Proactive participation in consultation with Management
Initiate promotional and marketing activities
Work on continuous improvement work processes
Providing the required monthly reporting

The package:
Salary depending on experience 30-35k (more for an exceptionally good candidate) plus company benefits, holiday allowance and pension scheme
