CALLING ALL SPORTS FANS! Do you have a passion and interest in sports, in particular cricket, rugby, hockey or netball? Do you have experience in sales, operations or administration within the travel industry? My client is a specialist Sports Tour Operator based in South Essex, offers group tours worldwide for sports teams (including the national, professional, amateur and school teams) and sports fans. As a Project Travel Coordinator you will be responsible for helping to look after all of the travel and other relevant requirements for England national team, assist in the organization of advertising & marketing material inc. Social media. Working alongside high profile ambassador, scheduling of appointments, making travel arrangements etc and supporting the Managing Director with diary management and scheduling meetings. *Scheduling meetings and diary management
*Event organising such as invitations to client dinners
*Liaising with key customers (Hampshire, lord's taverners etc.).
*Basic website management and database administration
*Liaising with customers over fund raising events
*Helping to look after all of the travel and other relevant requirements for England netball team.
*Looking after supporters following England netball team abroad and supporters coming to the UK to follow their country (i.e. World cup in Liverpool in 2019).
*Assisting in organising advertising & marketing material inc. Social media.
*Working alongside high profile ambassadors to be the main point of contact for issues such as scheduling of appointments, payment of invoices, expenses and making travel arrangements etc.

*Must be a car owner
*Good knowledge, understanding and genuine interest in sports (in particular netball and also ideally cricket, rugby, hockey and others)
*Relevant experience in the travel and/ or sports industry dealing with group bookings and hotel bookings would be an advantage
*Experience of supporting (and ideally managing) projects, especially commercial projects.
*A team with the ability to coordinate work with the sales and operation teams, clients and consumers.
*Confidence with planning, marketing and communication.
*Exceptional organisational and administrative skills.
*Computer literacy with strong word and excel skills.


*Mon - Fri: 9 - 5:30pm (You may be required out of hours and occasionally at weekends)


*The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive starting salary of £25,000 to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience which will be reviewed annually)
*22 days per annum, increasing to 28 days according to length of service, pro-rated accordingly plus bank holidays will apply.
*A workplace pension scheme after three months service.
*Business mileage can be claimed at 0.25pence per mile and company expenses can be claimed, subject to approval by Line Manager and completion of the Company's standard expenses claim form and full substantiation with all receipts.
*Staff discounts on selected travel products.
