Are you currently working in the travel industry and you also have events experience?? My client is a leading Well established Tour Operator in Birmingham who are looking for an events/agency sales consultant to join their growing team. This is an exciting role for the right candidate.

Personal Requirements:

Main duties:

*Research venues for new events as per annual events calendar, collate findings and report back
*Liaise with accounts department to raise invoices for sponsored events, and agent charges for FAM trips and update marketing spreadsheet accordingly
*Liaise with Sales Managers to obtain recommended invitees to events
*Run relevant reports using Dolphin system to support invitee recommendations
*Utilise Weekly Sales Figures report to identify key performing agents to invite to applicable events
*Use Whoozin system to load event details, and send invites
*Maintain Events Spreadsheet and circulate updated version weekly
*Develop a database for football events in conjunction with Sales Team and co-ordinate invites and hosts for football events
*Assist with the day to day co-ordination and planning of the event programme including answering telephone, responding to email enquiries
*Assist where necessary in marketing strategy and campaigns relating to events
*Assist with the organization & planning of UK and Oversees Familiarisation Trips
*Issue email reminders to agents/staff attending upcoming events, with summary of final details and host contact
*Issue final details to event hosts with all agent details including most recent sales figures, contact numbers and their allocated budget
*Co-ordinate staff attendees at third-party events e.g. Elite, Birmingham Airport
*Ensure events are added to Outlook Calendars for relevant people
*Update company intranet and Basecamp with events
