Finance assistant/Credit controller - Required for this expanding business travel company based in North London. They are looking for an experienced accounts/Credit controller ideally from the travel industry but they are open to looking at other experience. They will pay up to £22,000 + benefits for the successful candidate.

Finance assistants/credit controller duties
-To coordinate the debts of existing clients and deciding whether to allow further credit.
-To manage debt recovery, which if a client has paid late or missed payments could involve stopping further credit or undertaking legal action.
-Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are paid following the company's guidelines.
-Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
-Providing accounts information to internal departments
-Posting daily receipts and payments and completing monthly bank reconciliations
-Reconciling and posting Company and IC credit cards including, Barclaycard and AMEX cards
-Managing the Aged Debtors and Creditors in line with company policy
-Entering financial information into appropriate software programs
-Managing day-to-day transactions
-Reviewing reports for accuracy and meticulously tracing errors back to their source
-Resolving errors in financial reports and correcting faulty reporting methods

Accounts assistants/Credit controllers skills required
-Accounts assistants are required to have a logical mind and an ability to work well with numbers.
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent attention to detail
-The ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records
-Computer literacy and the ability to use various specialist applications
-Reasonable word processing skills
-Strong Excel processing skills
-A genuine interest in business and finance
-A willingness to undertake professional development
-The ability to learn quickly and adapt to (often complex) in-house systems
