Rare opportunity to work and train in a small company which specialises in sales and marketing within the travel industry. The role is very much hands on and would suit someone with experience of selling Asia or someone with a keen passion for travel who would like to learn all aspects of the business over time.

Great opportunity to get involved in a small growing company specialising in marketing luxury hotels in a very exciting industry.

Pending experience, the job would involve the following:

  • Maintaining good relationships with travel trade partners
  • Daily liaison with clients
  • Sales Calls with travel trade partners
  • Product Training on destinations and hotels
  • Hosting Fam Trips
  • Attending  travel trade shows, events and workshops on behalf of clients
  • Administration duties, updating databases, mailings, organising sales schedules 
  • Updating and maintaining powerpoint presentations
  • Assistance in organising functions and appointment schedules
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and liaising with clients
  • Organising travel itineraries

The position would ideally suit someone who has been working in the travel industry and who has travel experience both professionally and personally.  Knowledge of  UK tour operators an advantage but not essential. Alternatively, someone in a sales/marketing role looking to work in travel. Will also consider someone who has a real passion to work in the travel industry.

The position would suit someone with good IT/computer skills and a good confident telephone manner. Good standard of written and spoken English is essential.

Skills Required:  Good standard of written and spoken English,  proficient IT skills, good communication and telephone skills, well presented, well organised, ability to multi task and to work to tight deadlines.

Travel industry or marketing & sales experience an advantage. Experience in selling and or travel in Asia an advantage.

Qualifications Required:   Preferably A levels or equivalent but not essential.
