Are you an experienced sales team leader and working in the travel industry Are you looking for a new exciting new role? Well an exciting new opportunity has arisen in the Industry! My client is on the lookout for an amazing Team Leader with proven experience in successfully leading a team to be the 'best in class' then please do apply! Travel industry experience preferable but not essential!!!
This fantastic opportunity is working for a well-established travel company that has a fantastic, niche product and is an innovative global company that stubbornly refuses to stop growing and is based in Market Harborough!
In this role will be responsible for managing the day to day running of a team of Sales Advisers, within a contact centre environment and, performance manage them to maximise profits for the business. You will also work alongside other Team leaders to drive sales through being creative, supporting one another to encourage staff engagement across the sales department which leads to a high performance culture - and much much more!!

* Ensure that call answering rates, service levels and targets are met or exceeded
* Manage the daily inbound and outbound call volumes and email enquiries.
* Work with Resource Planning to ensure staffing levels are utilised to full potential via work plan adherence.
* Participate in recruitment and induction activities including the end of probationary periods.
* Update team on performance and business information through team meetings and other communications channels
* Handle and resolve barriers to sale through monitoring and feedback
* Ensure sales call standards and procedures remain current and are followed at all times
* To manage the performance of all employees effectively, efficiently and within the law, including the ongoing review of staff performance, 1-2-1's, coaching and objective setting.
* Working as a team to manage the floor
* Being creative to help drive sales, encourage staff engagement leading to a high performance culture.
* Ensuring individuals have an understanding and are demonstrating our Brand Values
* Working towards developing individuals so planning ahead in relation to getting the best out of them
* Participate in the creation and delivery of events surrounding current marketing activity and incentives

* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent including Maths and English.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in managing a team
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales and target driven environment
* Excellent IT skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel
* High level of interest in travel and country specific geography desirable
* Ability to manage a high workload, prioritising tasks and delivering to timescales as required by the business
* Experience managing remote workers is desirable but not essential

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary from £21-22k depending on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed!!
37.5 hours per week on different shift patterns during the opening hours of the department. The opening hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 7pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm.
