Job Title: Sales Consultant – Home based

Team: Sales

Reporting to: Sales Managers and Head of Sales

Salary: OTE £40-60k+

Hours: 30-40h per week, flexible working hours (including evenings and alternate weekend cover)

Our Travel Sales Consultant

Our Travel Consultants are the driving force behind our business. They're supported by a range of facilities including, IT, finance, HR and an outsourced marketing campaign. In all areas, we believe that, in order to attract and keep the best, you need to create the best possible working environment. We are looking for ambitious people that have a hunger to make money. We are a people business and so interpersonal skills are key, as is previous travel experience, but it is also important that you have a passion for learning about our product and engaging with our customers to maximise conversion and to identify suitable upsell opportunities. 

The earning potential in this role is exceptional. Our average homeworkers earned in excess of £40k in the last year, with our top sellers consistently earning well in excess of £60k. These earnings are predominantly commissioned based and are uncapped so will suit those that enjoy a very clear target and reward based environment.

We have spent a lot of time investing in our internal systems and processes to optimise our sales environment – we make money when you make money and we have done everything we can to help this. We don’t charge line rentals or administration fees like some of our competitors. 

Direct Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming calls from various advertising sources including Travel Zoo, The Times Newspaper and Telegraph newspapers, Google and Secret Escapes.
  • Maintaining the highest standards in customer service
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability is essential
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Tailor-making holidays to suit client
  • Identifying and converting sales enquiries from calls generated through extensive advertising
  • Ability to navigate web sites and in house travel related booking systems
  • Looking for up selling opportunities during every call 

Skills Required

  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
