We have a brand new opportunity for a travel industry professional to join an award winning, Business and Leisure Travel organisation as a Leisure Sales Manager. Based from their Worcestershire office and reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, the successful candidate will have overall accountability and responsibility for our client's key partner relationships. They will be responsible for revenue targets from these relationships and maximising profits and sales wherever possible, using proactive sales management to ensure targets are exceeded and effective key account management strategies to build lasting and profitable robust relationships. Role of Leisure Sales Manager:

  • Conduct customer sales calls, presentations and ongoing account assessments to maximize revenue potential and harness key account relationships
  • Work in partnership with Marketing Manager and partner hotels to generate offers which will drive maximum revenue
  • Manage hotel ROI targets and implement and action effective account plans.
  • Identify new business development opportunities within the market place and from existing partners
  • Maintain a full account database, account information, activities & bookings in sales CRM system
  • Identify cross Brand selling opportunities and ensure necessary hand over or follow up concluded effectively.
  • Organise/attend /run trade fairs/exhibitions/Client FAM representing the Brand(s) at industry related events as required

Skills required for the role:

  • Previous experience at Sales Manager/Business Development level or equivalent
  • Strong Account Management and client facing skills
  • Good understanding of the Travel/Hospitality sector
  • Willing to travel inculding attending fam trips and overnight stays
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
