Group Travel Business Development Executive, Putney, Up to £28k
Experienced Group Travel Executives Required! This role will be to work with all markets developing, quoting and working with groups for key clients and new clients alike to create a successful ad-hoc or series tour & using your skills to maintain strong relationships with both clients & suppliers. Particular attention will need to be paid to time management, attention to detail, customer service and assuring that deadlines are met. Salary to £28k for this Monday to Friday role plus benefits.
Group Travel Business Development Executive Responsibilities:
This role will be to work within the Business Development team, handling quotations and itinerary building for groups travelling to the UK and rest of Europe.
You will be both client-facing and supplier-facing.
Working with our clients and providing competitive and accurate quotations and itinerary suggestions
Researching special interest and technical visits for specific client interests and constantly adding to knowledge of European destinations.
Building close relationships with suppliers including hotels, coaches, restaurants, guides and entertainment venues
Building close working relationships with clients and helping them grow their group business with us by converting more quotes into confirmations
Attending site inspections and preparing for and attending Fam trips as and when required
Attending Trade shows and Exhibitions to represent the Company as and when required
Once confirmed, you will hand over the file to the operations team in an organised and accurate manner
Group Travel Business Development Executive Requirements:
Fluent English and ideally a European Language
Good geographical knowledge of the UK and preferably Europe
Previous costings & quotation experience of the UK and preferably Europe
Ability to use initiative and to work creatively & independently
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Attention to detail & excellent customer service
Ability to travel when required
Proven organisational skills
Sense of humour
