About the job

We're looking for new Tour Coordinators to join us.  Our Tour Coordinators look after all aspects of a customer’s booking once it’s confirmed.  You take over the booking and are the customer's main point of contact from then on.

This is a highly varied role combining administration, customer service and sales.  Reporting to the Operations Manager and the Freedom Treks Manager, you’ll be:

  • preparing and sending ATOL certificates and confirmation documents;
  • booking car hire, transfers and other ground arrangements with our suppliers;
  • advising on, selling and booking extras - lift passes, rentals, activities, bike hire, city stays, etc.;
  • dealing with changes and updates to bookings;
  • collating and sending out customer travel documents.

About you

You’ll have excellent attention to detail and a careful, thorough approach to work.  A good telephone manner is required as we spend a lot of time on the phone talking with our customers.  You must be a good team worker and have strong time management skills.  A passion for skiing, snowboarding or cycling and for travel in general would be very advantageous!

£20-24k per annum dependent on experience, plus generous company benefits including overseas travel to experience the products first-hand, a performance related annual bonus and company pension scheme.

Office hours are Monday to Friday 9 am-5:30 pm, with occasional 10 am-6:30 pm weekday late shifts and 10 am-4 pm Saturday shifts.
