A Tour Coordinator is required for this specialist and friendly inbound group tour operator with demonstrable geographical knowledge of the UK as a destination. Ideally you will have proven inbound UK tours experience with sound knowledge of UK tourist areas.

Key Responsibilities:
*Quoting, Creating and finalising tours on the in-house system for all go ahead tours. Co-ordinate UK incoming tour itineraries and all related services, to ensure the tours are a success
*Make necessary amendments to itineraries and control changes and cancellations for smooth running of operations
*Liaise with Sales Offices and other internal departments to ensure that requested services are booked and confirmed within the required deadlines
*Prepare all necessary documentation for the Tour Conductor, Guide or Assistant and ensure they receive this in good time before the arrival of a group
*Work closely with all local offices & MICE project Manager to ensure smooth operations
*Ensuring all files/paperwork relevant to operations is up-to-date
*Ensure all RFP's are replied to and necessary follow-up is processed
*Assist Operations manager/ Supervisor and MICE project Manager as needed with tour operation and general office administration as needed.
*Communication with off shore office.
*Emergency phone duty.
*Customer services duties, meeting and calling group leaders to problem solve on the spot issues.

Skills:
*Knowledge of UK & Ireland geography.
*Skill in bargaining to purchase best prices and conditions.
*Skill in public relations and handling complaints.
*Skill in organisation in order to coordinate several events simultaneously.
*Skill in both verbal and written communication.

Personnel Specification:
*Minimum 2 years' inbound tour operations experience or similar in the UK.
*Computer literacy for all Microsoft programs.
*Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure to deadlines
*Languages are a bonus but not essential.
*Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

The successful candidate can expect a competitive basic salary along with a pro rata bonus and the opportunity to work for friendly and successful travel company.
