An experienced Hotel Bookings and Administration Assistant required by group travel company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day sourcing of group space at suitable hotel accommodation, including ad hoc requests, contracting of hotel rate agreements where needed, plus allocations and maintenance of hotel information. We are looking for a highly motivated, confident individual who will be able to work as part of a team, and work closely with the sales departments in order to understand and deal with their customer booking requirements, delivering the right product and price within specified deadlines.

The role will involve working with our product team to identify hotels that need rate agreements and allocations pre-booked, so that we have a range of contracted product that matches both demand patterns and, also, where we see new booking potential.

*At least 2 years' experience in the travel industry contracting hotels, pricing and allocations for groups, along with adhoc purchasing
*A team player, organising work in the hotel department, also coordinating work with sales and product managers.
*Knowledge/experience of Disneyland Paris an advantage.
*Strong organisational and administrative skills
*Ability to multi-task and plan daily, weekly and monthly activity for the hotel department and with other relevant departments
*Professional and confident telephone manner
*Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK, Europe and worldwide
*Computer literate with Word and Excel skills
*Attention to detail is a must
*Educated to at least A' level (or equivalent) - English, Maths & Geography preferable
*Driving license and own transport recommended due to the office location
