My client is a leading luxury niche tour operators dealing with discerning clients.
They are now recruiting for a field based Business Development Manager focusing on their niche travel product working with travel trade agents in the Scotland and North region of the UK.
The objective is to increase revenue and opportunities from a range of travel agent accounts, were relationship management is crucial.
The successful applicant is likely to have previous experience travel background in field based agency sales or have worked in office based travel sales roles looking to break into a field based Business Development Manager role within travel industry knowledge.
Field Based Business Development Manager Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage and develop significant levels of business with travel agency partners within Scotland and the North of England.
Develop specialist business from key retail and online agents in the territory
Identify and generate new business opportunities
Provide agent training, roadshows and seminars throughout your territory
Field Based Business Development Manager Experience and Attributes
Previous sales experience within the travel industry having worked to targets is essential
Results driven and keen to achieve beyond the required
Be self motivated
Good relationship management skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Demonstrate good business acumen and ability to identify new opportunities
Diving licence essential
