We’re seeking travel professionals with strong customer service and administrative skills for a new Customer Service & Agency Support Consultant position. Based in Solihull, this is a varied role offering both internal and external support, liaising with Agents, Customers and the Sales team to resolve queries and provide a courteous and efficient service to all. The customer-facing aspect of the role involves processing and resolving complaints, problems and issues from agents or direct customers, according to industry guidelines, policies and processes and so strong customer service skills are essential. You’ll need to be highly organised and commercially aware as you’ll also work closely with the sales team, offering administrative support including coordinating actions and sales visits, setting up new accounts, updating the CRM database, monitoring incentive schemes and ensuring that Sales Team are updated with any new industry developments. Role of Customer Service & Agency Support Consultant:

  • Resolve issues or problems relating to agents & customer bookings, within company and industry guidelines and timescales
  • Support the Sales team with relation to visits, actions, industry developments etc. 
  • Oversee the setting up of new agent accounts
  • Organise and coordinate incentives 
  • Check for and advise re new agents and advise of any closed accounts & change of details, updating the CRM accordingly

Skills required for the role:

  • Previous experience within and commercial awareness of the travel industry
  • Strong customer service and administrative skills
  • Highly organised with keen attention to detail
  • Good communication and time management skills
